Here’s a little bit of what I saw this week that I thought you might like too!

Fall foliage map
Summer’s not behind us yet, but it is time to plan some GORGEOUS leaf-peeping. The Smokey Mountains Fall Foliage Map is key to finding some great peeping times so you can kind of plan a getaway accordingly. Use the slider to see the best date for fall foliage browsing. Feel free to email me if you have some tips on great places to go in Michigan because although it has been 4 years my husband and I are still very new to all the sites in Michigan.

Hurricane Ida help
Hurricane Ida hit southeastern Louisana as a category 4 storm which is some serious stuff. There are lots of people in need and we can wonder “What can I do?” First and foremost let’s pray for those impacted. People have lost homes, there is severe flooding and life has been lost. Please pray for restoration of what was lost, for healing and for strength for those impacted and for the helpers. And if you would like to know some places that are boots on the ground helping, I’ve got a few links below. This is not extensive, but a start.
Samaritan’s Purse (they are also helping in Haiti and Afghanistan)
Convoy of Hope
American Red Cross
The Salvation Army
