Dawn's Testimony

I was raised knowing about Jesus and God. But throughout my young adult life made all the wrong choices and did all the bad things. I always felt that still small voice. After getting married and starting a family, my husband and I decided we wanted our children to grow up with a strong foundation in Christ and started attending church regularly, doing bible studies, etc. Early on in our church attendance, in the back of the church gospel center I quietly recommitted my life to Christ. Since then I still make wrong choices (see: favorite food) but His voice is not small any longer, and I strive to listen for and seek Him first.

How did you get into radio?

I answered a Facebook job opening!

What is your favorite Bible verse?

I cannot pick one favorite, but this is where I am camping out right now... Jeremiah 17:7-8: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

What's your favorite childhood memory?

Running wild at the family "farm." Best. Time. Ever!

What's your favorite food and why?

Anything that contains cheese and/or bacon.

What's your favorite hobby and why?

I love to read and quilt and/or sew. But now that I have children, and when I'm not working, I spend my time drive kids around!
