Pray for The Promise FM

“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”

Update: PRAISE OUR MIGHTY GOD!! Through a series of events that can only be the providence of God, The Promise FM is BACK ON THE AIR AT 90.5FM!!

This is a temporary solution, that we believe will sustain the ministry on-air, while we walk through the rebuilding of the Atlanta tower site that was lost to fire last week.

PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS who love and listen to Life-Changing Radio, that WE'RE BACK, thanks be to Jesus, and our amazing Director of Engineering!

WPHN Tower in Atlanta, MI

These words from the 23rd Psalm remind us that no matter how dark the valleys we must walk through may seem, our great God is walking with us with every step, and He will be faithful to give us protection and comfort along the way.

On Wednesday, February 28th, during a ferocious winter storm, fire erupted at the Atlanta tower site where the transmitter for WPHN 90.5 FM, the 100,000 watt flagship station for The Promise FM, was housed. That fire destroyed the facility in its entirety, taking not only The Promise FM, but all of the CMU radio and television stations, along with other entities utilizing that tower site, off the air.

Praise be to God that the site was unmanned, and no one was injured in this catastrophic fire, but the damage is significant, and at present time it is unclear how long WPHN 90.5 FM will be off the air.

This, of course, creates an unmistakable gap in the coverage area for Life Changing Radio, and affects many who depend on the ministry of The Promise FM to be there every day and night.

During this outage for our broadcast signal at 90.5 FM, listeners can still find The Promise FM online and through our app, found at promisefm.com/promiseblog/download-the-promise-fm-app .

The leadership and engineering for Northern Christian Radio are currently working on next steps, to maintain the remaining stations of Northern Christian Radio with all of the ministry formats, so that we may continue to provide the very best in Christian radio ministry throughout Northern Lower Michigan, the Eastern Upper Peninsula, and into Ontario, Canada.

We ask you, our Promise FM family, to fervently pray for God’s guidance and wisdom, to help us get our largest station and the ministry it provides, back on the air as soon as humanly possible. We’d appreciatie you sharing our need for prayers with your friends and church family, too.

Thank you, for your ever-faithful love, prayer, and support, as together we walk through this dark valley, knowing that our faithful God walks with us.
