Pam and Mary’s Story

Read Pam and Mary's story.

“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

Mark 16:15-16 ESV

The Promise FM is a listener supported ministry. That means YOU keep The Promise FM broadcasting the truth and hope of Christ on multiple platforms: radio, smart phones, computers, and Alexa.

Your support is reaching more hearts, more deeply! Here’s how you are reaching hearts around the world more deeply:

“When my husband ended up in the hospital with blood clots on our Ireland trip, I was invited by his roommate’s Irish wife to spend 3 nights with her at her home! In our conversation she said she knew about many Bible stories but thought they were more like tales. She was very concerned for her husband and for mine too, and said a friend gave her a relic, a piece of holy cloth that if I put it in my husband’s hand it might help him. That gave me the chance to share Jesus with her, who we can know and is the One able to heal. Then I talked with her about the Passover story and how when we put our faith in Jesus as Savior, it’s His shed blood over us that saves us from death and we can come to God in the powerful name of Jesus for our loved ones.

Thinking then that I could read a devotion from the Promise FM Devotional the next morning that I brought with me on the trip, taking a look at it, I could not believe my eyes! The date was Sunday, June 18 which read:

“Take…blood and smear it on the sides and top of the doorframes of the houses” Exodus 12:7 with the title, How to Protect Your Family.

It was perfect to explain even more of what I shared with her the night before! When she agreed for me to read it to her she said, “God sure works in mysterious ways!” Yes! He surely does! Pray please for Mary Murphy in Ireland, that she will know Jesus personally and for her husband Pat. Thank you!
